Sub 70 TAIII v2 Forged Wedge(Black) : Built to Do It All

The Black Sub 70 TAIII v2 Forged Wedge is the next evolution of the original TAIII Forged Wedge, refined through direct collaboration with legendary PGA Tour player Tommy Armour III to make an already versatile wedge even more playable. While the DNA remains the same, subtle but meaningful changes were made to improve turfinteraction, flight control, and feel, without changing what players loved about version one.

The TAIII v2 Forged Wedge features a 3mm wider sole paired with additional trailing edge relief, allowing the club to glide more smoothly through grass and sand while still sitting cleanly behind the ball. To maintain the penetrating, tour-preferred trajectory despite the wider sole, mass was strategically repositioned higher in the head, producing a controlled, mid-flighted ball that checks and stops without ballooning.

A new polymer insert in the heel further enhances feel by dampening unwanted vibration at impact, delivering a softer, more solid response on full shots and delicate touch shots alike. Combined with the same trusted groove geometry, face milling, and shaping from the original TAIII, the TAIII v2 remains a true do-everything wedge.
