Sub 70 699 v3 Irons: Game Changing Distance, Forgiveness, and Performance

In keeping with the award winning history of the Sub 70 699 iron line up, the new Sub 70 699 v3 in black finish offers cutting edge design and state of the art manufacturing precision, with a nod to the classic look of our original 699 irons.  The new Forged VFT face design offers improved feel and ball speeds by utilizing an extremely thin and high strength 455 Carpenter Aerospace Steel. Moreover, the face is CNC precision milled and provides more uniform ball speeds from all areas of the face, to provide more consistent distance control on all shots, even the off center ones. A thinner top line, progressive offset, a new cambered sole design, and slightly increased bounce offer both aesthetic and performance benefits. Finally, with the 699 v3, we have revised the internal weighting and anti-deformation ribs within the clubs for increased energy transfer and MOI stability.
