The Sub 70 639-CB Forged Iron is a workhorse for the player who seeks distance and control while retaining feel. It is precision forged and milled from a solid billet of DT-4 soft stainless steel for unparalleled feel and responsiveness off the face. The club is designed with a rounded leading edge and sole design to provide better turf interaction for the player who needs forgiveness, and the player’s style cavity back provides additional margin for error while not eliminating workability.
The 639-CB provides the best of both worlds, allowing for creativity and shaping of shots while providing the necessary forgiveness to the player in need.

- Surprising distance, great value
Surprising control & distance. Currently game Ping I210 standard loft/lie. Had demo clubs bent 1* flat which helped reduce strong draw. About a club longer than current, though I loft on S70 is1* stronger, but wouldn’t expect that much of an increase in distance. Confidence builds at address though top line is slightly wider it’s not a deal breaker. Soft when struck pure as you expect from most forged irons, you will feel the miss when not flushed, but results not overly punishing. I can certainly see placing these in the bag in the near future, but perhaps look at a combo of 639cb& mb. Current HCP 18 (so take my review for what it’s worth based on your own game). Have mostly played Ping and Titleist over the years but the name brand isn’t as important as results and feel. Did I mention that these sticks are gorgeous? Highly recommend trying the demo and if possible get it set to your specs. At the price point, it’s going to be hard to convince me to pay $300 - $600 more for the “name brand”. Jason is awesome to work with.

- Hot-knife through soft butter.....
I've been playing Taylormade RAZORxxxx for the last 10 + years, and Ping Blades before that... the ball is so sweet off this club face and the control is outstanding.... Thanks so much....

- Amazing irons. Unreal price point.
As someone who has played almost every premium forging out there, at some point in my life, I am absolutely blown away with these irons! They are fantastic feeling forgings.
I acquired these after having all of my equipment stolen, and wanted to try something new. And these have absolutely not disappointed, in any way. They feel premium, the look premium, they perform premium.
Prior to these, the Top 3 forgings I've ever hit were - 1) Miura CB501. 2) Mizuno MP14. 3) Mizuno MP32. And honestly, to say that there's a significant difference in feel from the MP14 to these, is a misstatement. I almost cannot tell the difference, and I was hitting them side by side.
For me, to get this kind of feel and performance from a set of irons that is in the Sub $900 category, WITH premium shafts, is absolutely unreal. I don't know how they're doing it, but, they've created something that I believe is going to change the industry.
If you're in the market for a premium iron, that isn't going to break the bank, and provide you with performance equal to or better than most the major OEM's, then don't hesitate. These are fantastic!

- MUST BUY!!!
I absolutely love these clubs. I was fortunate to pick up a set of the 639. The feel and the forgiveness of the irons are by far the best. All my life I used one company's clubs. The reason why I gave a new company a chance is their Customer service. They actually listen to you and they give you hones feed back. THEY want to put You in the best club FOR YOU. Thank you so much!!!
