The Sub 70 739 iron is the most user friendly and forgiving iron in the Sub 70 line. Its dual constructed head, which features an ultra thin face and undercut channel, combines the feel of a player's iron with the forgiveness and launch characteristics of a game improvement club. The center of gravity in the 739 was placed as low as possible in the head to assist in getting the ball in the air, and the thinner 455 carpenter steel face promotes maximum energy transfer and attendant distance. Finally, consistent with our desire to produce handsome clubs that the player can be proud to play no matter the skill level, the 739 maintains a classic, thinner topline that is more elegant than most modern game improvement irons.

- Quality product, great customer service, amazing prices for a quality product
These irons are legit. They hold their against any of the major OEM irons I demoed before trying these. Easy to launch, solid distance and solid/stable feel. The service is outstanding. Jason the owner really did
everything he can to make sure I received irons that were best for me. I would recommend Sub 70 to anyone.

I’ve been demoing just about every OEM game improvement iron since around February. I read about Sub 70 and figured I’d give them a try also. I ordered the demos played several rounds and range sessions. The 739s held there own with any of the GI irons and were better several. Easy to launch, very good distance and the 9 iron was holding greens with very little roll out. Just as impressive was the personal service from Sub 70. When I ordered the demos Jason the owner called to make sure I was demoing the irons that were right for me. When I decided to purchase Jason suggested since I lived close I come in and he’d fit me. Very thorough. He asked a lot questions and watched a lot of swings. I was fitted on Friday and had the clubs on Monday. As I was leaving Jason reminded me that if I need any more adjustments bring them back and they’ll do everything they can to get the clubs right. I played my first round and I am still just so impressed. The best part I spent about $300 dollars less for quality clubs that perform as good as the big OEMs.

I’ve been looking at new Game Improvement irons since the beginning of the the year. I’ve tried just about every OEMs offering and then I started hearing about Sub 70. I used their demo program and gave these 739 irons a try. They performed right there with any of the irons I was considering for several hundred dollars less! Easy to get up in the air, forgiving, solid distance and the 9 iron was consistently holding greens with little roll out. I was impressed with the clubs but Sub 70 service was just as impressive. Jason the owner called me when I ordered the demos to make sure I was trying the club that was best for me. When I decided to purchase since I lived close to there Jason suggested I come in and he’d do a fitting. We did the fitting on a Friday, the clubs were ready on Monday and I played them on Tuesday. Jason said keep in touch and if the clubs need any more adjustments don’t hesitate to bring them back. I’m really happy I’m taking a chance on these guys.
