Sub 70 Pre-Owned 659 Forged Satin Iron Combo CB-TC-MB

For the player that wants to take full advantage of forged iron technology and head design, the CB-TC-MB combo set is the clear choice. With the undercut technology on the CB long irons, moderate forgiveness and workability on the TC mid irons, and ultimate workability on the MB short irons, the player will have the pinnacle of performance throughout their set.

The 659 CB is the next iteration of our award winning 639 CB. The 659 CB maintains the same head size and offset as the 639, but with additional weight added to the bottom of the club to lower the center of gravity and add forgiveness on off center hits. The long irons (3, 4, and 5 irons) feature undercut technology, which creates a hotter face, better ball speeds, and more distance.

The 659 Tour Cavity, or TC, is a new addition to the Sub 70 iron array. The TC is both a bridge and an elevator, in that it is meant to bridge the gap between the CB and MB, allowing players to create the perfect combination set for their unique game, but also as a standalone set that will elevate one's ball striking and ability to shot make. With some forgiveness built in by virtue of sole design and weighting, but still allowing the high level player to hit all 9 shots on demand, the 659 TC is truly the crowd pleasing middle child of Sub 70's 659 line of irons.

The 659 MB is the next evolution of Sub 70's award winning 639 series of forged irons. The 659 MB is a tour caliber blade with a classic top line, minimized offset, and super soft feel, which results from each head being forged and milled from a billet of DT-4, soft stainless steel. However, what makes the 659 MB a true stand out of any golf bag in which it appears is the fact that it is packed full of modern technological help, including the updated sole design, which features rounded leading and trailing edges, for better turf interaction and control for all swing types and ground conditions.
