The 659 TC-MB combo set is designed for highly skilled players that would prefer a little additional forgiveness in their long irons but absolute control and shotmaking on their mid or short irons. The 659 TC model, while still workable in regards to shot shape and trajectory, will offer some additional forgiveness when compared to the 659 MB. Meanwhile, the 659 MB offers the pinnacle of workability and feedback for the mid and short irons. Both models are forged from the super soft DT-4 steel and carry the same specs to ensure that they can be blended however the player prefers.
